Favourable, stunning location on a Sunday until 2 pm to the airport. Breakfast with juices, oranges and also assorted danishes.

Booked Disability Access room with a nice love seat, a rainy day-lush green mountain view plus a 4 poster canopy bed, which I really appreciated. The dining area had a huge variety of great meals for breakfast. The location was good, by forest, in the lovely area.

The hotel was upscale, the room was vintage, the beds where very comfy. I liked sitting in the signature restaurant for many meals. Had a such wonderful stay here.
Unfortunately, there was no breakfast.

I had a PERFECT stay at this well-known hotel. the property had a central location close to everything. Plus, it was just off the bar/restaurant, local activities, and a stream and wildlife. All the staff was super friendly, settled my issues.

We spent Christmas at this hotel and had a great time. The hotel had a charming old world charm that we loved, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to West Hartford and other attractions. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, and we enjoyed taking walks around the property. The hotel also had its own bar and restaurant, which was a bonus for us.
There were a couple of small downsides to our stay. The room we stayed in felt a bit humid and damp, despite having the AC on.

We had a room in the annex and not the main hotel. The main hotel was very nice the annex was more like a motel...traffic, noise etc.
Location of my room. I would reccomend only if you stay in the main hotel.

The location was ideal for us as we had family nearby. The room we were in #418 was very tired with spots on the upholstery and carpeting. The room itself was spacious. Having a bar and restaurant on the premises is definitely an asset for those traveling and not knowing the area.
As mentioned above, our room needed updating as there were soil spots on the upholstery and carpeting.

What a charming place! The Avon Old Farms Hotel is a lovely motel, with its brick exterior giving it a cozy feel. The location is great, with swings and a chess set providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond, providing exceptional service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the pool is a nice addition. a delightful experience.
One downside is the lack of complimentary breakfast.

The hotel and particularly the small restaurant were long on charm. The rooms were spare but pretty and comfortable.
The bathroom was sub-standard for a hotel billed as relaxing. There was no light for the mirror and sink area so that any time spent in the room was spent in the company of a single harsh flourescent light and a clackety shower fan.
